The Lady Warriors faced off with Pierce in a tough game on Thursday, Sep. 15.
The Lady Warriors lost with a score of 3-1 (17-25, 25-22, 13-25, 20-25) despite a strong effort. The Lady Warriors watched Pierce on film beforehand to learn more about the way they play, and they knew that it would be a tough game.
Junior Caitlin Guenther and sophomore Jaida Allen both stated, “they are really good players and good servers and they are a very experienced team and play well together.” Jaida stated that “even knowing you are on the bench cheering it is fun to pump up your team.”
Guenther smashed 10 kills, and junior Ellie Tramp and freshman Jaisie Janssen both added seven more. Once again sophomores Sammie Allen and Jaida Allen helped the team out with 13 and 12 assists respectively.
Looking ahead, the team plans to work on improving their serves as they move on with the season.
