Senator Mike Flood, Legislative District 19, and Senator Tim Gragert, Legislative District 40, are hosting an "Idea-Raiser" event in Niobrara on Friday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Niobrara State Park. This pertains to LB 406 which has received first round approval from the Nebraska Legislature. As amended the bill would appropriate funding for an economic development study of Northern Knox County. Senators Flood and Gragert, would like to gather input from area residents and businesses prior to the hiring of the consultant to conduct the study.
